Valet : Resort Guest Pick Up Process?

First time using Valet at the CR. My assumption is that you can call the valet desk prior to taking the elevators down so the car is ready?

Can anyone confirm that providing the ticket # does the trick?

Also, any suggestions as to how far in advance to call for the car to ensure it's ready when you need to depart? 10 minutes? 15m? Thank you.

That's an interesting idea; I've never actually called ahead to have my car waiting. I usually just go to valet with my ticket and hand it to one of the valet folks. I don't think I've ever waited more than 5 minutes for my car to be brought to the front.

My understanding is that you go down, hand the receipt to the valet CM, who them brings your car around.

We always call before heading down. They usually ask for number and/or last name. It typically means less of a wait.

We often call down before hand also and it has always worked well.
