Valet Question

I understand you should tip each time Do you play for the day or each time you request your car?

You pay once per day. Keep your receipt for the next stop, you can valet park anywhere that day.

You pay the valet once a day. You tip everytime you either get the car or drop it off or both pickup and drop off. So if you are getting the car frequently, you can spend a bundle just on the tips.

I agree it can get expensive if you pickup and drop-off frequently. I usually tip two dollars when I receive my car. If you feel uncomfortable tip one dollar when you hand it off and another dollar when you receive it.

I always tip $3 for drop off and $3-$5 when I pick it up. I know that might sound excessive, but we are on vacation and I find the valets very pleasant and very honest. They once found my credit card case and left it on the seat for me. (It must have fallen between the seat and the center console.) Everything was in tact, even gift cards, so that's why I always feel very generous towards the valets.

Also, we only use the car two or three days of any trip, just for AK, MK and MK resort restaurants. We plan on doing all of our MK stuff while we are staying at the BLT this trip, so we'll only be using it to go to AK while staying at the BWV.

This is how I handle it when I dispatch DW to self park to get our car.

I tip $3 to $5 when I get my car back. Once at GF it took 20 minutes to get my car. No tip then.

That's what I thought ... I usually do 2-3 on pickup depending on whether or not we need to get anything small loaded up.
