We have a 3:55 Ohana ADR on a day that we are planning on going to MK and then back to our resort after Ohana. Would we be able to valet our car in the morning at the Poly (around 9) so it will be there when we are done eating? Is it even worth it or would it be easy just to park at TTC and take the monorail? The interest in parking at the Poly is because we will have a baby with us and the fewer transitions might make it easier. Thanks for any insight!

Yes, you could valet at Poly. If you pay, you can stay all day.

But you could park at the TTC free if your resort is on site, and you can walk to the TTC from Poly easily.

You cannot park all day at the Poly unless you valet park. The self parking lots are marked as not for theme park parking. Think about it, the lots are not big enough to accommodate the resorts own guests and people who want to do things similar to what you are suggesting. And, the resorts own guests have no other choice but to park there while visitors always have other options. I understand your desire for convenience but it is far worse to return to your home resort and there are no parking spaces (it does happen) and many of the resorts guests have small children and infants and need the convenience of staying at their home resorts.

And, the Poly is starting to crack down on this and have new cameras installed to help with enforcement. They have started turning away people without ADRs and the plans are to become very stringent.

Maybe you should re-read what I wrote which was asking about valet parking and only valet parking?

The only "wrinkle" I can see in your plan is if the gate guard wouldn't let you in. Maybe plan a breakfast at Kona and make an ADR for there, so you can tell the guard that you have a reservation. BTW.... the Tonga Toast at Kona is really yummy!

Thanks for the reply- we will be there the second week in December so I'm sure it will be busy. I would love to try Kona... that actually might not be a bad idea! I was worried maybe it may be too full that valet wouldn't be an option (which I totally understand) so I guess we could try and then do TTC as a back-up if we don't do an ADR?

We've stayed at the Poly a few times, and valet parked at least part of each trip and I don't ever recall the valet lot being full. However........ you never really know for sure. Even though there are very few "slow" times at WDW anymore, the second week of December shouldn't be too bad, but you could end up way out in the TTC parking lot, which would be a pain. If you have an ADR for breakfast, the guard will let you in, then you can just pull up to the front entrance and tell them you want to valet park. The couple of times we've had breakfast at Kona, we weren't really ready to eat again until around the time of your Ohana ADR, so the upside is maybe not having to find somewhere for lunch in the MK.

Just in case you weren't aware, unless they have recently raised the price, valet parking is $25.

Thank you so much for the information- I do really want to try Kona and it could be a fun Poly ADR day! Again, I really appreciate you taking the time to explain it all to me! :)

If you have Tables in Wonderland the valet is free if you are going to TIW restaurant

Kona also has amazing macadamia nut pancakes. Mmmmmmm, yummy!
