Valet Parking

If I'm staying at the Poly on points, is valet parking free? If not, how much is it per day? As always, THANKS!

Nope, it's not a DVC resort, so you have to pay to valet park. Not sure how much, maybe $6/day, plus a tip when you pick up/drop off?

You can still valet park for the DVC resorts that offer it, but you'd have to pay at the Poly.

valet parking is $7 a day, but once you pay $7 a day you can go visit other WDW and DVC resorts and wont be charged the $7 again . DVC is trying to change or make the valet charge more clear, which you get free valet at the dvc resort that you are staying at and not at dvc resorts that you are not staying at the time. We ran into this problem during our last trip and the rude valet cms.

we had valet our car at the cont. ran in to eat at chef mickeys and was denied seating because we did not have PS, we left ,we were only gone 5 mins. and i told valet that CM changed there policy , that you need PS and i was not going to pay for valet parking. I was not charge valet parking, so just a warning for those who eat at CM and you dont have PS dont valet park.

I don't think there ever was a policy about free valet parking with dining except with the DDE card. And then, I think, you pay and are reimbursed. DVC only gets free valet parking at DVC resorts - BW, BC and WL - no others.

To clarify, my experience with DDE parking (we had ressie at Calif Grill)...it looks like you pay the valet fee when you pick-up your car. We were not asked to pay prior to entering the Contemporary. I showed my DDE card and a restaurant receipt when we returned for the car and the CM noted it on their copy of the ticket.

Deb and Bill are correct, to my knowlwdge there has never been a free valet perk for dining, except with DDE. Several years ago all valet parking was free to all onsite guests, but that changed years ago.

I was not aware that the DDE card included free valet parking. If this is true, how does it work?
