Valet Parking time limit? (California Grill brunch)

My mother and I have a California Grill brunch reservation on a Sunday in January. It says that it includes complimentary valet parking. We planned to stay at the brunch from 10 - 1, then to walk over to MK for the remainder of the day.

However, doing my last minute check through my plans, I realized there might be a time limit on the valet... I've searched through WDW's site looking for any rules/guidelines about valet, and I have not found any. It is very frustrating.

My mom is really looking forward to this breakfast... I don't want it to be spoiled after the fact because Disney towed her car because we stayed past an unknown time window.

We are staying at Pop Century.. I'm wondering if maybe we should just take a Disney bus to MK, then walk to Contemporary for the breakfast... That's kind of a stressful way to start off a fancy breakfast, though. I'm not interested in paying for Uber or a taxi, either, especially because the valet was included in the brunch... Help?

You can add payment to the valet if he tells you about a time limit for complimentary valet parking upon your arrival. Or drive out by the time limit he gave or marked on the claim check.

(Normal paid) valet parking includes no time limit for the day plus free lot hopping to other valet resort lots.

All day. We did it last year and I asked when we parked. So spent the rest of the day at MK.

The complimentary valet typically comes with a 3 hour limit. That’s how it works for the TiW benefit. I believe you have to stop somewhere to get it “validated,” so I would expect it to be enforced.

It's so frustrating that there's no official policy on this listed online from WDW. Different people are giving different answers, and I really can't take the risk or else it ruins part of our afternoon plans (specifically the live entertainment on Main Street). I guess I could just call them the night before and see what answer they give me.

Well, you could swing by the Contemporary prior to brunch day and directly discuss with a valet.

That was not our experiences last year. I specifically asked one of the valet s and they said it was good all day. Just as if you paid out of pocket.

How long you can park with a complimentary valet voucher could vary from day to day depending on expected valet usage and resort occupancy. So what someone else experienced may or may not be what you will experience.

Can't stress enough YOU need to get authorization. You can't just go by someone else's experience here. Seems it depends on valet and time of year. Saying XYZ on disboards said it was OK won't work if towed or charged.

If I read that complimentary valet parking were included in the price of brunch, I would assume it's complimentary valet parking for the duration of your brunch, not all day.

Peace of mind worth it IMO if going over 4 hours typical parking allotment to pay for valet. Paying all that $ for the buffet, might as well factor parking into the mix.

It is specified on the disney website that the complimentary valet parking is for the duration of the event

TIW valet perk runs basically the same way:

Resort and Disney Springs™ valet services are complimentary to Tables in Wonderland members, for the sole purpose of dining at one of the participating Resort or Disney Springs™ restaurants. This privilege will only be extended to one vehicle per membership card. Present your membership card with a valid dining receipt from the participating Resort or Disney Springs™ restaurant at the Valet Stand upon retrieving your vehicle. Complimentary Resort valet parking is not intended for length of stay at a Resort and may only be used if the vehicle is parked at a Resort for the sole purpose of dining at one of the participating Resort restaurants of that same resort. On Tables in Wonderland block-out dates, there will be a charge for parking and valet services
