Rick sent an email in to MS and received the canned response as well.
Well, low and behold, today I received a phone call from an actual human at DVC in response to the email. She wanted to "discuss" (placate) the issue and assure me that all of the responses were being documented and forwarded to the higher powers.
Now my question would be- did the emails everyone sent in get their attention or did my response to my guide calling me a couple days ago get their attention?
My guide called a couple of days ago wanting to "check in on us". Told her thanks but we weren't adding any points and felt like the new banking policies and removal of popular perks without adding any of comparable value were a discouraging development. Enough so that I didn't think I could offer any referrals anymore either. I'm not sure she knew what to say, which is kind of funny since she's normally very on the ball with responses. Needless to say we finished the call with me telling her that if we wanted to add on points I'd probably do it through resale where I thought the point cost was more in line with the value I perceive in DVC. For some reason Disney timeshares have flooded the resale market....
Just wondered if anyone else has gotten these phone calls?
