Valet parking during crowded times

We are headed to the World first-second week into November and for the first time we'll be renting a car. Epcot, HS, AK- no problem, as we are normally there well before rope drop and parking will surely be a breeze.

We presently have 2 MK days set, but as some of you may be aware, the crowds for Jersey Week are looking pretty heavy.

One MK day coincides with a Chef Mickey reservation for breakfast earlier in the day, with the plan being that we'd head to breakfast, pay for valet (realizing that this is complimentary) and then use the valet ticket later in the day to park again when it's time for the Xmas Party. Wondering if there is an advantage to paying for the valet earlier in the day, and whether it all but assures us that we'll be allowed to return later on, as opposed to just showing up at 3PM, trying to pay for valet then and hoping for the best. What do you think?

The other day is a straight MK day, but again, well before rope drop for a 9AM opening, so probably arriving around 730-8ish. Has anyone had any problems attempting to valet so early in the day, just because of the hotel itself being at or near capacity? Is Bay Lake Tower a fall back option for valet?

As you might have guessed, I'm trying my hardest NOT to park at the TTC.

Thanks!

You won't know until you try, but parking at TTC and all of the MK resorts WILL be severely at a premium (or sometimes, not available)
during peak holiday times.

Robo we're talking "other" than peak holiday. Nov 5 to 13 specifically.

Sorry, I can't help with the later in the day return but we were there over 4th of July and had a Chef Mickey reservation at 8am. We valeted for breakfast with no problem and then picked up the car at around 1am after our day at MK with no problem at all.

Thanks. Appreciate any other feedback as to experiences some of you may have had.

I now offer premium parking in the parks if that woukd work better for you on day 2. It is $35 or $15 for onsite I think.

Why are you looking to avoid the TTC specifically? Are you really saying you ONLY want to park at the Contemporary so that you can walk to the park? I believe the Contemporary and Bay Lake Tower would utilize the same valet lot...someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

Another option would be to take the bus to the MK on the days you're visiting it and walk to the Contemporary for your meal. That way you avoid the TTC, as you're seeking to do, and you'll be picked up right outside the gate when you're wanting to go back to your resort.

Also, you said you'd pay for valet (realizing it's complimentary). Valet isn't complimentary for anyone...all guests must pay for valet, regardless of where they're staying.

Valet Parking is Complimentary for TiW but you would have to provide dining receipt as proof.

Valet Parking is Complimentary with Handicapped Tags.

Perhaps OP has one of the above.

Kraz- looking to simply avoid monorail and ferry waits and peak times. This is the first time we're renting a car and I'd like to avoid Disney transportation as much as possible.

I misspoke about valet- meant to say that Self Parking for a meal @ Chef Mickey's is complimentary for 3 hours and then you have go exit the lot. Focus instead was to be on how I could pay for valet earlier in the day and then park later at around 3PM

I think many who drive still take the bus to MK in order to avoid the ferry and monorail. I actually like the ferry and monorail, so I go ahead and drive.

I guess it depends on where you want to use your spending money. To me, $25 + tip seems like a lot to spend just to park a car. That's the difference between an extra TS meal or another souvenir for me. But, if valet parking is important to you, you certainly can do that!

For me it's just a splurge/convenience sort of thing, especially with us hitting the contemporary twice in one day. If it wasn't projected to be so crowded we would just go ahead and hit up the TTC.

I really don't think the days you're going with be that bad to warrant avoiding just parking at TTC. I wouldn't waste the money valeting
