Valet parking cutting down on walking?

I will be visiting Island of Adventure with some friends, one of them cannot walk very well for long distances and plans on renting an ECV in the park.

So I want to help him in getting to the park entrance as close as possible.

Would using valet parking make a big difference compared to regular or premium parking? We will share the parking price between all of us so the price doesn't matter that much.

Maybe someone could point out for me on Google Maps where the Valet area is located?

Thanks!

Yes...valet will put you right next to the theater which cuts the walking down a lot. The only difference between regular parking and Preferred is the parking level. You will be on the 3rd level which is the main level with Preferred. It does not put you any closer to the park entrance.

Yes...it's area with the pink roof. :thumbsup2

Hope you don't mind my jumping in here...

I know there's an escalator at the Valet Parking area, but is there an elevator? We will have 2 ECVs.

We also have handicap placards for both vehicles. Would parking in the handicap area be a lot further to the entrance than using Valet parking?

I can't remember if there is an elevator at the valet area...I would imagine so since there are elevators all over the garage. I'm not sure where the handicap area is but I think it's on the main level of the garage. There are elevators there though. The garage is further away than the valet area.

Hope you don't mind me jumping onto this thread too. I also have a valet question as well. FIL broke his pelvis 3 months ago and has difficulty walking long distances. He did not want to ruin the trip for anyone and wants to enjoy this family vaca. He plans to walk and take breaks often. Anywhoo....We want to make this as easy as possible for him, and are not concerned about the price of valet. I wanted to know if anyone knows if the valet has been running early in the morning? Ex. We are offiste guests and plan to be at IOA by 7-730. Will there be valet attendants at this time, has anyone used valet at this time of the morning-very recently?

TIA:flower3:

I don't know the answer to that but I will call this afternoon and find out for you.

When we went to the park it was open very early. IDK, if that was a special case though or what.

I do know that Valet is well worth it. It cuts off loads of walking and you can come and go as you please paying only the one price. It's very nice.

We actually made friends with 3 of the Valets that were working and they were all super great.

Does anyone have the price of valet vs. parking in garage? Thanks. Is it a theme park valet or do you go to a hotel? Never done it and don't remember seeing it.

Regular Parking $14.00
($3.00 between 7 p.m. and 10 p.m.)
Preferred Parking $18.00
RV/Bus Parking $20.00
Valet $12.00 (under 2hrs)
Valet $22.00 (all day)

Parking is at the park (or rather CityWalk) and is much closer than normal parking.

The only difference between preferred and regular is you are on the same level as the park (it could be farther to walk).

Thanks for the map WWEDude! Made my decision much easier. Valet parking is worth the extra few bucks.

Soooo....

I have a question. I was looking at the Annual passes available, and noticed that the premier pass includes both free Preferred and free Valet parking. Do you get to choose which one, or are there times they tell you to do preferred instead of Valet?

Is it easier to get out at park close if you valet compared to being in the decks?

Valet parking opens at 7:00 AM on early entry days.

Can you do a drop off on Universal Blvd for the parks?

As of now, we will probably be there 3 different days, so I don't want to valet park for all of them.

Oh, great map, thanks.
