We used valet this weekend and had a few issues at two different locations. First they "lost" our car at BWI and then they did not answer their phone for 15 minutes at AKL. We were also double charged one day.

I noticed on the back of our ticket it refereenced WDW AND the Valet Company. I wanted to send a constructive feedback, but i am not sure of the apporpriate place to do so. Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Regarding Valet parking. Always tip dropping off and picking up. It's the only way to make sure you car gets treated with respect.

Really has nothing to do with the question.

OP - I believe that Valet is a outsourced position. If you know the Valet Company I would send a complaint to both them and WDW... if you don't start with WDW.

Yep, it is outsourced. One of the reasons DVC no longer gets from valet services. In any case, I would send a complaint to WDW as well as the valet company. There is no excuse for 'losing' a car. I mean, seriously, the lot isn't that big!!!

It did not say the name of the complaint of the Valet company on the ticket....I will do some googling on that one...is there a specifid email one would recommend for contacting Disney?

And while it really didn't have anything to do with the original question...we do tip well, and we don't believe that any of the issues we had can be attributed to the actual valet guys, but more the person behind each counter.

Every tipping guide I've read indicates the valet is tipped when you pick up your car.

Do you really think the employee at the valet desk didn't answer the phone because the person calling didn't tip when he dropped off the car?:rotfl2: Do you think they keep a list of guests who didn't tip. Check the caller ID against that list before deciding if the phone should be answered.

Yep and not only that all the service evaluations I do for valet companies only reimburse me for tips given when I pick up the car - I am instructed by the valet companies themselves not to tip when dropping off.

We've used valet at every WDW resort that offers it. By far, our worst experience with valet has been at the BW. In fact, the only negative email I've ever sent (almost 40 years of visits), was in reference to BW's valet.

Others have double or over charged us, but they were quick to rectify. Honestly, it makes me not want to stay there. Other than that we love the resort.
