Is it possible to valet park at the contemporary for the day if you have a breakfast reservation at Chef Mickey's?

You can, but it will cost you $20 (it's free if you are a Tables In Wonderland member... FL residents only). You also are only technically supposed to valet for 3 hours or less if you aren't a resort guest... meaning you are only there for reservations, resort shopping, or visiting friends/family at the hotel.

Parking in the morning and then walking or using the monorail to go to the Magic Kingdom is a no-bo as far as I understand it. Can you get away with it? Maybe.... But do you want to risk it?

I don't think that Disney minds if you Valet park. It's not like one is trying to escape the cost of parking. In fact it is more expensive then parking in the MK lot and using TTC to get you there. Especially when you factor in tips, etc.

So I would say yes, but, you can save some money by just using the MK parking lot and riding the Monorail. Plan extra time for the Monorail though. It goes clockwise to the Polynesian, Grand Floridian and MK before it stops at the Contemporary. It takes longer getting there, but, a whole lot quicker coming out.

DVC members and annual passholders can also get a TIW card, in addition to FL residents. I'm not sure they would give you all day free valet.

Resort valet services are complimentary to Tables in Wonderland members, for the sole purpose of dining at one of the participating Resort restaurants. This privilege will only be extended to one vehicle per membership card. Present your membership card with a valid dining receipt from the participating Resort restaurant at the Valet Stand upon retrieving your vehicle. On Tables in Wonderland Block-Out dates, there will be a charge for parking and valet services.

This is incorrect. Sometimes guests are given a three hour limit when self-parking, but you can valet park all day.

This was my understanding also. I have told some extended family they could do on the day they go to MK. They want to avoid the monorail crush at the end of the night since their party will have 2 scooters so I suggested they valet park at the Contemporary and just walk to the park.
