Valet parking at Disneyland

Do you get free Valet parking at the Disneyland hotels? We are using our points to stay at the Grand Californian and want to know if we get the free valet parking. Any other perks I should know about before going. This is our first trip on points to DL.

No, Valet parking is not included. I believe it is $17 a day.

Your point stay includes the resort fee which is $12 per day. The resort fee covers the parking across the street and daily newspaper, phone, etc.

DVC members get a Portable Perks at check in and there are many discounts at DTD restaurants and within the hotel.

Dont know if you have tix or not, but you can use valid WDW MYW tickets for entry into DL. Mousesavers has a really good how-to on this. This saved us a bunch last year. You cannot use WDW AP's, only MYW tix.

I loved GC and thought DLR was very quaint and magical. We received turn down service with chocolates each night and the resort has a full list of activities for guests to participate in. I enjoyed the morning walk thru DCA prior to opening. We walked the entire park at a brisk pace guided by a very knowledgeable CM. Nice way to see the park without a tix.

If you are staying at the DL hotel then the parking is right next to the hotel. Sometimes we prefer to self park. That way we can walk right down to our car rather then wait and then tip. You can spend another good chunk of change in tips if you take your car out a lot.
