There was a short discussion on the main Running Thread 2024 yesterday, but I'm not sure anyone noticed/pointed out that it is series only? That's a bummer for me as I really only want the Wall-E medal.

Between this/12k Christmas challenge it seems like this is the new wave of virtual events… it will be interesting to see if Disneyland keeps the Halloween Half themeing or if they make a Halloween 13k series instead

Probably. I'm sure the blanket is nice but I definitely don't need that either. I'm mostly just annoyed that rD decided THIS was the virtual that was going to be all-or-nothing.

I'm leaning toward just buying the Wall-e medal from someone who didn't want that one.

Where there's a will, there's a way. PO Box? Your best friend in USA? Another Disser -- that sounds wrong, but you know what I mean LOL

You could maybe even find someone who wants to split it with you if you're not interested in all of the swag.

Where outside the US are you? Canada? Close to the boarder? There are some re-ship services in the US where you ship to them and then they send it to you for a fee. Or if your close to a boarder you can see if there are any companys that hold packages? Unfortunatly they dont ship to PO boxes. But all they really wantbis a US address. Of which there are several ways to "cheat" the system for.

As @dis_kegs said, why not use a shop-and-ship service? There are quite a few options, including this one used by a lot of my fellow expat friends.

Thanks everyone . I do have a friend in the US who has been my rundisney mule for awhile -
I just don’t want to keep impinging on her and also the extra shipping costs . At least I don’t have several large W&D / dopey / Princess boxes to ship anymore

Received my box of goodies today for this event, so anyone else who signed up, be on the lookout!

Now I just hope the running trail near me can be clear of snow sometime over the next few weeks, so I can do the runs outside rather than using a treadmill run.
