What do men usually get for V-day? Christmas was easy. I'm stumped on what to get him for Valentine's Day. :confused3

We're going to a nice dinner @ The Capital grille and I'm sure I'll get something really great from him. I need help!

Awww, the young and in love. What to get him? Something that doesn't have buttons that will pop off and hit either of you in the eye;)

Seriously, we don't do "romantic" gifts on that day, though I do normally get flowers. If he has his eye on a new book, dvd, cd, or even even tickets I usually just pick something like that up and give a sappy card with it.

This year, it's packing tape and boxes with the sappy card:rotfl:

Not to worry, my "special v-day outfit" is buttonless. ;)

I know I'll get a dozen roses and chocolate and probably jewerly. I got him an awesome watch for Christmas. I should have saved it for Valentine's day. Oh well, next year I'll know better.

Maybe we should skip the gifts and redecorate our bedroom and bathroom to make it feel more like ours. Hmm, I'll have to ponder that thought.

That doesn't wait for a holiday.

I feed him good chocolates or grapes, and I wear a red nightie for about 3 seconds before we get busy.

[on days other than V-day, I may or may not bother with the nightie and he feeds himself]

Ok, then Special Valentines Day Sex. ;)

Does he have a sporting even he enjoys or play golf or something that you could get him a gift card for a new club or a round at a nice course nearby that he doesn't normally play, or rent him a fancy car for the day or week or something if he doesn't already have one, or a fishing trip or boat trip or helicopter ride over the nearest city, etc.

We don't do gifts on Valentine's Day. We usually cook a nice dinner at home and put in a movie we've both been wanting to see. It's nice and romantic just to snuggle on the couch and relax.

We will exchange cards and MIGHT get each other something small...nothing bigger than his favorite kind of candy, a small bouquet of flowers, etc.

It doesn't sound very romantic, but for me, romance is in the small everyday things we do for each other. I think Valentine's Day has gotten way over-blown and expensive.

I used to tell my wife that she couldn't go wrong in the present department if she stuck with guns, tools or strippers. :teeth:

If you want to embarass him to death send roses to his workplace. He'l die of loss of face to the other guys.

Or you can go the food route. Since you're already doing dinner then get some guy candy. Big old cookies, gummy worms...anything that'll put him a sugar coma for a day or so. :thumbsup2

Sex is always the answer to DH gifts. DH loves any gift that includes me without clothes or sexy cloths that come off quickly.:lmao:

No sex is not just for holidays but it IS the gift they always want.;)

I like your above idea a lot. Don't forget to get some sexy lingerie to go with the new bedroom.

One year I got dh tickets to a game and another year I gave him 2 rounds of golf.
