VALENTINES DAY Who's Going?

I'm picking up my 5 year old neice and we're headed to Disneyland for the day with a hop over to DCA...she's never been there.


I'll have a lime green mickey head on my backpack and I'll keep a look out for others!


Anybody else going that day?

Last month I was making small talk with a customer at work. I mentioned that I got my neice a pass and we we're going the next day. They said they had annual passes too and they were also going. I lightly said to the little girl "Maybe we'll see each other!" and didn't really give it another thought. My neice was sick and couldn't go that day but I went and guess who I saw over at a DCA giftshop?

Just missed you! I was there yesterday and this morning. I bet you'll have a nice trip. Valentine's Day isn't exactly a holiday that you get vacation for, so you should have pleasant crowds I'd guess

A lot of schools are closed today for a holiday which could explain the higher crowds.

DCA-the wine country trattoria is doing a special for Valentine's day, 2 glasses of Magicale, some kind of dessert ( like a lot not just a little, but I forgot what it was ) for like I think my friend said $20. this is for two people.. and I was told this yesterday, so I vaguely remember the details, but the dessert sounded so yummy!

so last night i was at WCT, and they had a desert special like i had said before.. ok so here is what it was

4 chcoclate dipped strawberries
2 hand made vanilla bean marshmellows dipped in white chocolate( i think )
2 glasses of magicale
and pistachio white chocolate brittle for $20, this was for 2 people!

now that is a good deal!

OMG - that sounds yummy!!! I wish we had gone yesterday...Next year for sure!
