Valentine's Day <3

Me and Garrett did our Valentines Day tonight.

We went to his house, watched the Olympics with his parents, ate gumbo, then went to his room and watched Pride and Predudice. (I mean.. I MADE him watch it.. lol)

He got me the softest teddy bear I think I've ever felt, a picture frame, and a buncha candy!

For Christmas he got me a teddy bear too.. We named that one Bubba, so we decided to name this one Jenny, and the next one Forrest

He's kinda obsessed with Forrest Gump.. lol.

The picture frame has a picture of me and him back in early November 2008. It was like two weeks after we started dating. We was sitting at a basketball game and his friend turned around to take a picture, so we smiled and everything and right when the camera clicked he turned and kissed my cheek I have like the biggest goofiest smile on my face lol.

It was a lot of fun, even though we pretty much spent it with his mom and dad

i hate valentines day. and its not because i'm single. i dont think it's romantic at all. it is a day of obligated romance.

well derek & i don't usually go anything, and we said we weren't gonna get each other anything, but i guess he was feeling romantic this year
we 'celebrated' yesterday. he made me pasta and garlic bread with my faaavourite thing ever strawberry daquiris! aaaand he gave me a dozen roses but the best gift ever (which wasn't a gift it was just him being the best bf in the world!) was that he picked me up from the club i was at so i didn't have to pay for a cab home. now THAT's love hehehe.

^Above is expressed my feelings regarding the celebration of Hallmark--I mean Valentine's--day.
The fact I just got my wisdom teeth out so I'm just kinda sitting at home being all puffy and achy and nasty isn't really helping things along.

I generally like valentines day..just not really much this year.
I couldn't spend it with who I wanted to b/c of a little distance..and snow..and other issues.
So I'm stuck at home with parents, but i'm fine with it actually. Last night was more of a valentines day than today.

But I looove hearing everyones cute stories

My best friend and I are going to see Percy Jackson and the Olympians

We're having a bit of anti-Valentines day. (but all in good fun) It's not a date movie, and it's just the two of us so we thought we'd have some fun.

Considering the fact she hasn't talked to me in what is now 24 hrs.. I don't think this is happening.
