With Valentine’s Day this year being at the start of a long weekend, is it going to be slammed? I’d really like to take my kids since the older is off school and we’ve really enjoyed going on Valentine’s Day in the past. One year a CM gave my son a handwritten valentine when we first arrived at the park, he loved it!

It’s going to be slammed. Another poster on another thread said Canadians have Friday-Monday off, and several school districts in Southern California are off. What is the AP block schedule? Are most of them blocked? If most are blocked it may not be terrible!

I think as long as you plan for crowds you’ll be fine. If we were off and lived in OC, we’d probably go. Just use max pass, see some shows- that’s our favorite thing to do when it’s crowded, and use mobile order. It’ll be great!

We may drive up and brave the crowds the following Wednesday during ski break.

Blockout calendar is wide open. Only SoCal Select is blocked.

I would say it is more than likely going to be busy just based on trying to book a hotel vs availability when I was checking right now. I would definitely take @Aurora0427's advice and plan for crowds. It's your best bet. Hope you guys have a wonderful time if you do go!

I think a lot of people are off of school this year, so it will probably be pretty busy.

I still might take A over for a few hours after school because she loves V-day and I sewed her a cute Disney Valentine's Day dress.
I think I’ll do it. I’ll have the baby anyway so no big rides. It will be fun no matter what!

I’ve always wanted to see the Frozen show. Does that run on Fridays?

There is also a cheer convention that weekend😲There will be cheerleaders everywhere I expect:cheer2:

That day is reservation required for Flex Pass but Both Parks reservations still seem to be available (as does the whole rest of the long weekend...).

Cheer Comp weekend! Jr Nationals at DCA and High School Nationals at the convention center. Expect to see lots of cheer kids and dance kids.

I wondered what was going on, first time going and we’ll be there wed, Thursday Friday and then the following Tuesday. Is the frozen show like finding Nemo and the lion king in Disneyworld and which park is it at if I have time lol
