Valentine’s Day at WDW

Hello! We are going to be at WDW during the week that includes Valentine’s Day. My kids are 6 and 3 and are very excited about Valentine’s Day parties at school, which they don’t know yet they are going to miss (trip is a surprise). I’m sure they will get over it since they will be on surprise Disney vacation instead, but I was also wondering if Disney does anything to mark the holiday in the parks or on property. I haven’t seen anything yet and nothing came up when I searched. Worst case we will give them cards and candy and have a great day in AK, but I wanted to see if anyone knew of anything.

I’m not sure about Animal Kingdom but they usually light up the castle at MK in pink with hearts. Also, you can usually find valentine themed cupcakes, cookies, etc. at various locations.

Back in I want to say 2012 during the limited time magic promo they did Sweethearts Week where all the Princes were out with the Princesses I wish they did that every year... other then that mainly just cupcakes and various valentines day merchandise will be available

Was there at MK last year & didn't notice anything special.

Not saying there wasnt special treats in the bakery, but was in there too & didnt notice anything.

I can't comment on Valentines Day at the MK but I can't think for a more Magical place to celebrate it!

I was there last year at Epcot. They had special pins but you have to get them early as they were sold out by the afternoon but there were other heart themed trading pins.
