Valdosta, GA hotel

We are planning on stopping around Valdosta, GA on our way to WDW & we're looking for hotel. Pool a must, breakfast would be an added bonus, under $90. Any suggestions?

We usually stay at the Hampton Inn there. rates are around that price, includes a quick breakfast.

Thanks, the Hampton Inn in on my list. Has anyone had luck waiting until they cross over into GA & getting coupons at the rest stops? We'll be traveling on a Tuesday so I'm thinking there will be plenty of rooms available. I wonder if I'll get a better rate with the coupons.

We always stop in Valdosta and for the past two years we have stayed at the Econolodge. It was brand new last year. It's very clean and basic but for a place to sleep, it's great. It's 55.99 (Saturday) and you may be able to get it for less on a Tuesday. I am a clean freak and this is the only hotel in Valdosta that I have felt was "clean" to me.

The Hampton Inn is very clean. But, you probably can't get it for $55.99.


OT, but HI is changing all the beddings with every person. I just love that! we got a little note at the last one we stayed at in Newark, DE. They wash and change the comforter and the decor pillows too! I wish all hotels would do this.

Have you ever tried a Country Inn and Suites? They are a safe bet. Very clean, with courteous staff and a free deluxe breakfast (waffles, sausage, cereal, cookies, oatmeal, etc.). We enjoy them!
