....Is it worth a visit?

I read in another thread that the food is a lot cheaper than in disney.

I just wondered if it was worth making the journey in the evenings to eat.

Also, do the hotels do shuttle buses to there?

You can book a shuttle from your hotel. I think it is around €5.

We've never been there for food but friend who stayed at HNY went there a few times :goodvibes

There is a company that run a shuttle bus but I know when we used it is more like a taxi service and as far as I am aware it doesnt run back an forth.

The centre is only one stop by train so is easy to get to.

We have only used the sandwich shop there but there is certainly a wide range of places to eat :goodvibes

On our last visit to DLP we ate at the Chinese Restaurant which is recommended in the Brits guide & really enjoyed our meal. It made a lovely change from eating at the parks

Sorry no idea on buses as we were in our own car but if not I'd use the train

I was just about to post the same question when I saw your thread!

I can't seem to find much about it online; what I found seems outdated. Is it a shopping area? More like a village or a mall? We'll probably take the train vs the shuttle, but I'm just wondering what it's all about.

It's a mall with a designer outlet next door. Most of the restaurants are at the far end of the mall. We had a very enjoyable meal at the Italian restaurant there and although I can't remember what the bill came to it was certainly much cheaper than eating in the park and very enjoyable to sit and relax after time in the park followed by a shopping excursion. If you want to get rolls, snacks and drinks etc for the park the Auchan is very good.

forgot to say that although I think buses run there, we just got the train - it's only one stop and didn't cost very much. The centre is about a 5 min walk from the station.

I can't remember exactly when it is open. However, I think it is something like 10.00 am - 8.00 pm or 9.00 pm. Auchan is open a little earlier and closes later. I'm pretty sure everything is closed on Sundays. The restaurants will certainly be open later.
