Hi

Is Val d' Europe worth the visit?

We have six full days so was thinking we may go for a morning, or afternoon. Also I have read that food is cheaper and we may like a break from park food.

Cant find any link on internet to tell us what is there or what food outlets there are.

Any one help?

:cool1:

We ate at the pizza place there - Pizza del'Arte, I think - which was pretty good and they gave DD a few colouring bits etc to keep her entertained. I can't really remember what other eating places were there though - sorry!
They've got the Sea Life centre there which is ok but you can do that in this country!
The Auchan supermarket was good for us as we were self-catering.
I didn't visit the actual shopping centre or the outlets but my DM and DSis did and weren't that impressed, particularly with the outlets as they were still very pricey. Guess it depends how much money you have/want to spend!
All-in-all it's ok but I would only spend time there if I had nothing else to do or needed food supplies.

There is a link in the Useful Info sticky at the top of the board :thumbsup2

Great Auchan hypermarket which sells everything. Ideal for beer & wine to take home if you are driving.

Last June we ate at the Chinese restaurant there & had a lovely meal & will definately eat there again. The restaurants are open later than the shops.

Yes there is a web site which gives opening times etc but I've lent my Brits Guide to someone at work & it was in there. You may be lucky if you google.
