Vacuuming Stairs

So far I have been happy with my Dyson and the attachments for stairs. I use the crevice thing to get in the corners.

Make sure you empty out the canister and clean the filters frequently. We do that every week or two. It is amazing how much suction they lose if dirty.

I use the crevice attachment. What about one of those carpet sweeper things that they sell "As Seen on TV". I would think that would work as well for your problem.

Try using a stiff brush. I use a dish brush on my stairs.

I use the attachment Damo showed the pic of and it does wonderfully for me. If I'm in a hurry though, at times I'll just quickly pull it all forward with my hand, then suck it up with the hose. It works and it's fast!

If that attachment doesn't work, IMO, you need to buy a better vacuum.
