Vacation village?

My father in law is giving us a week at VVP, we have never stayed offsite. We are getting 2 rooms w lockout. Is this resort ok? Can anyone reccomend buildings to stay? We are looking for pretty quiet since our baby naps but close to pools for our older boys.

Is that the "high rise" time share?
If yes, then I stayed there for 2 weeks in 2005, and it was fabulous! The decor was great. The pool was just an elevator down, parking wasn't far. WDW 8 minutes by car. Was the best off-site Orlando timeshare I've ever stay at. (Approx. 8 different ones). The only 2 complaints I had were: that the pool noise at night carries up to the balconies if your room is facing the pool and that the hardwood floors meant that the chairs in the apartment above you made noise when the above dragged them across the floor. But that was in 2005 so I'm sure that it's probably been dealt with.
I'm sure OP will give a more recent opinion.
