Vacation Theme - Frozen

We decided to do a vacation theme while we are at Disney. Surprise surprise that we are going Frozen, right? The "Fairygod Mother" will be leave special gifts & surprises along the way. I think I have everything that the Fairygod Mother will leave the girls. We got our older DD the Disney store Elsa dress, but wanted a short sleeve Anna dress for our younger DD so we went with something on Etsy. I can't wait to meet Elsa & Anna with the girls! So happy we snagged FP+ to see them!

What are y'all doing for your vacation theme?

This is a necklace I made that has "pixie dust" to help the girls fly the day we leave.

The Fairygod mother will leave me a magic wand for dinner at CRT for the girls makeovers. We also have a lot of other stuff not in the picture, but that's all things Frozen.

We are doing a princess theme. Tinkerbell is bringing our presents since our DD's ( 5 & 7) have a Tink room and still believe in her pixie dust. Favorite find for our June trip was Frozen beach towels at Walmart for like ten bucks. My DH says I'm more excited then the kids right now.

Look, we are at Disney, so a Disney vacation. Or look, we are at the beach, so a beach themed vacation.

The only theme of our vacation is that its my son's high school graduation--so we got graduation ears. Other than that, we are just happy we get to go. But OPs theme is TOTALLY cute and those dresses are fabulous!!

This just cracked me up because the songs are getting old. lol Then I laughed even more since your picture was Elsa & Anna FrozenGurl. Our daughters are just crazy about this movie so we just went with it.

That sounds like so much fun & Tinkerbell leaving everything is really cute! We were going to do princess theme too, but of course the girls are just crazy about Frozen. My oldest daughter is 7 & I feel the same way about only having so much time left for them to still "believe" in magic. We are staying at the Contemporary hotel & plan decorating the room before the girls go up to see it. Hope y'all have a great time!

Our theme is Remember To Close And Lock The House And Shove Everything In The Car And Don't Leave A Kid Behind. Works pretty well most of the time

That's awesome!!!! What great ideas you have!

I've done "Mickey presents" for the past 2 trips with the kids. I basically tell them that Mickey calls me to discuss little things they might like and he leaves special presents for them when we are there.... I've done everything from playing cards with Disney characters to little lanyards with bubbles attached shaped in Mickey heads and t-shirts....etc. It always makes them ask if there are any other Mickey presents when we get home!!!

It certainly adds to the magic...and really decreases your spending while you are there!

I just love your ideas OP! I never had the opportunity to take my daughters to WDW when they were "princess age". Now, I have one granddaughter, age less than one whose mom is NOT into princesses and neither are her two older brothers. I watch wistfully as moms such as you post their princess fulfilling fantasy trips and feel envy.

I do have a Disney Daughter who I brought to WDW at age 11. Not much of a princess, but her visit to MGM (now DHS) inspired her to become an animator and illustrator. She works in California and makes her own princesses.

I love your ideas! My parents always left us gifts from the "Vacation Fairy" leading up to a trip and we would look forward to those almost as much as we looked forward to the trip itself. I think your girls will be thrilled with what you've got for them.

Wow, I was feeling guilty for not doing a themed Easter basket his year and just throwing stuff in that my son will like! Boy am I the store-bought cookies and non-organic juice mom that will be talked about at the home and school meetings! Seriously, what you are dong is awesome, just don't tell my son

This is what the letter from the Fairygod Mother looks like with her signature from Disney World.

I also made Honorary Princess Certifications with Cinderella & Walt Disney's signature

I does not have to be limited to a princess. We can do a pirate, diploma from Monster University, I have many ideas floating around.

I also had a video made for the girls that is personalized with a lady doing Cinderella's voice telling them about the trip the day we leave. She was amazing. They have no idea that we are going to Disney until the day we actually leave.
