Vacation Strategy -- when is balance really due?

I got an email last week asking me to pay the balance on my trip, but I was wondering if anyone knows when the final payment is actually due. Their website says 30 days before our reservation, but I wanted to know if anyone has experience first-hand.

Last year they requested our balance due 45 days prior to our arrival.

This is what their web site states;
Final Balance:
The final balance will be due after you receive an invoice from Vacation Strategy with your reservation details. This will typically occur within 30-60 days prior to the check-in date

I also have a reservation they VS, just received my final invoice for payment at about 56 days. I haven't paid yet, planning on doing so within the next few days.

We rented from them this past May. When I booked, the email I got from them said the balance would be due about 21 days before check in. However, about 50 days out I got an email saying the balance was due. I called and the guy I spoke with said they were sending out the due notices earlier now. I didn't ask about paying it later. I just went ahead and paid it that day.

Seems like our invoice for final payment came a little earlier this year than last but I didn't hesitate in paying it. Hoping for another easy trip this year with no worries at WBC.

I just made a reservation for next May 2014 yesterday, and also got an email saying final payment was due. I called them this morning and they said they had a system glitch and it shouldn't have been sent out. Sounds like several people got emails.

Thanks for the responses. I did get a second email saying they'll cancel my reservation if I don't pay 30 days before check-in. Better to pay it off sooner than later, though.
