Vacation Strategy strange quotes

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to know how Vacation Strategy work out their pricing. I have had a quote for WBC for 15 nights in September 2014 and for 15 nights over thanksgiving 2014. The quote for September was higher and I can't work out why!?

I asked them about this and they said that seasons dictate their pricing. I have to say that I have never paid more to stay in Orlando in September than I have thanksgiving. I am baffled to be honest and would appreciate people's thoughs.

Also, who is the best/cheapest company to book WBC through?

Prices will depend on the season and also on what each renter has in his inventory. Last May I requested quotes for both my upcoming Sept 14th-22nd and Dec 6th-16th trips from several different sellers (Vacation Strategies, Vacation Upgrades, Farrells Vacations, Shelby Resorts, Aaron Washburn, a seller on ebay, and some lady someone here on the DIS recommended). Shelby Resorts beat everybody for the Sept trip, but Aaron Washburn beat everybody for the Dec trip. The Sept trip is only eight nights, whereas the Dec trip is for ten nights. Aaron Washburn was soooo much cheaper for the Dec trip, but higher for the Sept trip so I emailed him and asked him why. He told me the same thing VS told you. That Sept was more expensive than early Dec. Even with Shelby Resorts, I am paying about $14.00 more per night for the Sept trip than I am for the Dec trip, but that's still cheaper than going with one seller for both trips. I'd just get several quotes for both trips and go with the renter that is cheaper for each trip. That's what I did. I wanted to use one seller for both trips, but round up using Shelby Resorts for the Sept trip and Aaron Washburn for the Dec trip, in order to get the best price for each trip. This past May we used Vacation Strategies because they had the best price, but for Sept and Dec, Shelby and Aaron beat them by quite a bit.

I'm a little disappointed with how much more expensive WBC is now. I think it used to be that not many people kew about it but now it has become more popular they have put their prices up
