I have ordered this. i have hears that this comes with a 20% off code. Does anyone else know if this is true?? Also would this code if there was one be able to be used in July.

Sorry, I believe you have been misinformed. The discount codes are hit-and-miss, at best, but by ordering the vacation planning DVD, your contact information is at least in the system.

Discounts do come out periodically, but you have to jump on them quickly, as there are only so many rooms available at the discount kwim? The code availability dates vary too, so no way to really guarantee that.

I believe there is a discount code past history list available on mousesavers.com that you may find helpful.

I just got my DVD....sadly I did not get any discount codes with it.

We've ordered the DVD every year for the past couple years and received a code only once .. about 2 years ago so it appears that the codes are very random.

I ordered the DVD just to see if a code would follow it....no such luck! I got the DVD a couple of weeks ago, and NOTHING...oh well. We're booked already. I think we missed the window for the discount anyways...we're going the week before it's valid, so it doesn't matter if we get one or not.

It does ask when you are planning on visiting wdw when you order it.

Yesterday I got a 20% off email..and in it-it said-we see you are planning a vacation this fall....leaving me to think..they only could have gotten that particular info from when I ordered my dvd.

I also got a 20% off email about a week after ordering the 2008 DVD online. We were able to use it for our CSR stay in Dec. We are also staying at POP the first 5 nights and I was able to get a 20% off CAA/AAA rate.

So, again, I think it is real hit and miss and totally random to get any type of discount emails. The best thing to do is sign up for any type of Disney email and you just never know!
