So I upgraded from a standard room at POR to a garden view today and hit the pay button and paid the whole balance on my account $1692.00.....omg I thought I was going to die, thank God I had the funds to transfer into my checking account. now to pay back my savings account instead of Disney weekly

I'm about to pay mine off too. I'm trying the gift card thing where I buy gift cards to get a rebate on tuition at my kids' school (we get a 3% if we buy our local super market gift cards from our school and our supermarket sells Disney cards AND gives me $.20 off per gallon of gas for every $50 I spend - with the price of gas here in Ohio, I can see a couple of months of free fill ups in my future!).

My credit card bill with my Disney balance, flight and rental car is due this week, so I feel your pain. On the plus side, my credit card bills for the rest of the year will seem puny by comparison.

I'm paying off my trip today with my TA using a AAA branch voucher and my Disney Vacation Account...I'm going to be so relieved once it's done! I've been buying Disney Gift Cards using Target gift cards for months so we'll have spending $ and gratuities while socking away my "savings" into the DVA...I'll be sleeping better once I know we don't owe money!
