Alrighty i'm doing my homework on my honeymoon like I have been. Now I made up a vacation package with a 8 night stay at the POR with a 4 Day Magic Your Way Base Ticket. This package deal comes out to about 1868.40 and 1958.30 with insurance. I then calculated buying the resort and tickets separately. The total for that was 1839.08 which is only like 30 bucks less. Should I just keep with the vacation package? Let me know experts.

Totally depends on if you think the $30 is worth it. I stay away from packages now as being a FL resident everything comes out cheaper for me when I do it separately. Is there something else you can use that $30 on while at Disney, maybe a few counterservice meals or one sit down meal for lunch possibly for you and DH 2B....then do it separately. :teeth: Just weigh out all your options carefully and have a wonderful time planning!

When's the big day by the way??!! :love2:

Well, there are codes that come out that will help with discounting your room. When will you be visiting Disney? Codes are only available for trips booked through April as of right now. It probably won't be til March when and if any other codes come out. Visit the link below to see the codes:

FL RESIDENT ROOM CODES

Also visit THIS LINK to see the history of when codes came out so you can plan for your trip. It looks as though we won't see anything new til sometime in March as far as codes go.

There are tickets called the Play 3 for FL residents. It's buy 2 days and get one free. If you need the 4th day, you can still purchase cheaper than non FL residents buying Disney passes. Visit the link below to research that option. I figured by purchasing the extra day, I still come out better than non FL residents on Disney passes.

Florida Resident Options

Check out those options and tell me what you think.

also, are you interested in a dining package? if so, then it can only be purchased as part of a package... another thought would be if you have AAA membership as they offer some good discounts...

Yes...Mousesavers updates as soon as codes come out. A lot of people believe we won't see much of codes anymore because of the new MYW tickets, but I think we won't see much of codes as far as packages go. I think the codes for rooms will still be around as if Disney needs to fill the rooms, they are going to have those codes to do so. Keep your eye out and I'm glad I could help you save money.
