Mine was to bike Tuscany but I did that in 2008. Now biking and kayaking the fjords of Norway is the top of the list.

I would agree with Egypt. That would be my ultimate trip.

Ephesus in Turkey is also high on my list as is Thailand and Bali.

Wow, everyone here must be on the same page with my DH, he mentioned taking the trip of a lifetime next year and said he'd thought about Egypt. Our boys are still sort of young though and i'm not sure i'd be comfortable with bringing them at this age. He's going to have a ton of FF miles and Hotel points to use after living in China for a few months. I'm leaning towards Hawaii.

We did one of our trips of a lifetime - GALAPAGOS this past March/April

....others in our list, diving the Great Barrier Reef, African Safari in Tanzania, cruise on the Rhine, and my personal one - Fiji.

Spain. There is a small town in Spain that is named after my ancestors. It's my maiden name. My grandparents have been, my parents never made it there. So, I'd like to visit in their honor.

I'm really into genealogy. I'd like to do a tour around the Eastern United States and then Europe, visiting all of the places my ancestors are from:

I'm lucky to have done most of my must dos...after living overseas for 5 years.
Checked Egypt, Jordan, South Africa, England, Scotland, Oman, UAE, Switzerland, Italy, Morocco, Germany, Japan, and Russia off the list! I would go back to some...

but my next trip of a lifetime wish is Alaska... and Hawaii ...

In Italy there is a town that was named after long ago relatives, would love to visit as my parents and sibling have many years ago.
We intend to seek that town out as part of our 2011 vacation, if we can..... we are traveling thru Germany, Austria and Switzerland...it will be a trip of about 3 weeks, so no Disney for us next year ...I'll be getting my Disney fix thru the boards instead (the only time I missed a yearly Disney trip was during chemo...so we'll see if I go thru withdrawal)
Actually, I am very much looking forward to our Europe trip! Each trip for us is "Special" from our perspective!

Someone mentioned Fiji...my dad is/has been a world traveler ...literally has traveled much of the world...he said Fiji was a place he would certainly return again and again........

I'm annually working off my bucket list--we leave for Egypt in 2.5 months. I've already done China (including Tibet), Italy, Switzerland, England, France, Mexico, Hawaii, Bahamas.

My husband and I rotate each year so he gets his pick next year and I think it's going to be Costa Rica or Spain.

My next choice is going to be Africa, Viet Nam or Russia. Oh, and I want to cruise the Amazon so I guess I'd better add it to my list.
