Hi All,

I just booked a Walt Disney World vacation package for February 7th to 13th, 2008. My girlfriend and I will be staying at the Pop Century Resort, and have the Magic Your Way PAckage so we got upgraded to the Water Parks & More option for free. When I booked it, I didn't realize they added in the vacation insurance, however it's still cheaper by about $100.00 if I would have bought the room, and tickets, seperately. So it's not really a big deal, but is it worth it to those who've had to use it? And if it's not, can I cancel it and get some of my money back on it?

Thoughts and advice appreciated.

Steve

We always get it regardless of the price. For us it's worth it since there are 5 of us and we do land. And then sea packages. We have used it only once and believe me we were very happy to have had it. God forbid anything ever happens, but it's one less thing to have to worry about if it does. It's just a choice thing. You'll hear lots of pro's and con's. For us it's just part of the expense of the vacation. Hope you have a wonderful time regardless of your choice! :)

I find the terms for vacation insurance unattractive and have medical insurance through work so I would cancel it but that's just me. It depends on your comfort level.
