vacation in 5 days--have to buy patio furniture!

We bought our patio furniture in 1992, so I'm not saying we weren't due. We were down to 3 chairs without cushions (our replacement cushions rotted out and we threw them away last fall) and a table and a replacement umbrella. We have been idly looking at chairs only, saying our table is OK.
DH sat out there this morning with the umbrella open and left it open. The wind picked up. Now this umbrella has headed for the hills before but has knocked the table over to do it. This time the glass just shattered in a gazillion pieces!
So now DH is out there with the shop vac, and we have to go to Home Depot, Meijer and Target to see if there is anything left we like. We thought about waiting until after vacation, but by July 11 I'm sure it will be really slim pickings. We will probably keep the umbrella although it got a small rip today, since we put lights up inside of it just a week ago!

Sears had some nice ones last time I checked. I almost bought a set there last month, but I'm going to wait because I'm having my backyard cement repaired and I wouldn't know where to put the table and chairs until it dried. Check online to see what's available.

Sam's Club has some nice stuff. And a great return policy!!

I just gave ours away to the neighbors. It was like new. 4 chairs that reclined in several positions, a table and an umbrella.

You could have driven up to get it.

I still can't believe I gave ours to the neighbors. We're hoping we get to move soon and I just didn't want it sitting around. It was too big for us to even think about moving it to Florida.

We ended up getting a pretty good deal from Lowes. The stuff would have been close to $500 earlier in the year and we got it for $330--a rectangular table, 4 regular sling chairs and 2 rocker/swivel sling chairs. I also got 12 months interest free, which is a bonus since I had no intention of spending trip cash!
Floridafam I guess our timing was off! We just had friends leave this morning driving back to Grand Rapids--they could have stopped off yesterday to pick up your furniture!
