vacation home rented and paid for no confirmation documents sent still

HELLO FELLOW DISERS, I AM NOW BECOMING VERY NERVOUS. I RENTED A VACATION HOME FOR 9 NIGHTS IN WINDSOR HILLS RESORT AND I HAVE PAID THE OWNER IN FULL. WE ARE TO CHECKIN AT HE END OF MAY. I HAVE BEEN IN CONTACT WITH THE OWNER AND SHE KEEPS SAYING SHE WILL BE SENDING OUT THE DOCUMENTS (EMAIL) HOWEVER I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED THEM. I AM HOPING THAT GEORGE IS READING AND LET ME KNOW WHAT HE THINKS. I HATE TO KEEP BOTHERING THE OWNER HOWEVER MY HUSBAND IS ABOUT TO FLIPOUT:eek: WHAT DO YALL THINK
 
I think there could be reasons that are out of the owners control. I think if you have a phone # try that.

Some times life happens. Last week I had to fly out to Florida to be at the side of a girl friend who just lost her fight to breast cancer. I was not in contact with any guests for a few days.
 
How long ago did you make the reservation?

Sometimes it takes us a day or 2 to get the confirmation back from the MC too if they are super busy, getting a reservation # back to us quickly isn't always their top top priority (which is OK, taking care of guests is and should be!).

And yes, life does come up from time to time! We all have them! hehe When I was in WHR myself on vacation 2 weeks ago I pretty much ignored most of my emails, if someone emailed me with something critical I'd answer it, if it was a direct inquiry I responded (when I could) and told people we'd get back to them when we got back from vacation ourselves on Sun/Mon!

I wouldn't panic, if she said she'd get it to you, then I'm sure she will.
 
QWNER RECEIVED PAYMENT ON 4/17. CLEARED MY ACCOUNT ON 18TH. I DO HOPE I AM JUST BEING PARANOID:scared1: IT'S JUST THAT IT IS GETTING CLOSE AND I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE ALL THESE THINGS COMPLETED AND IN HAND. THANKS FOR THE ADVICE AND WORD OF COMFORT;)
 

Some owners don't send out final checkin instructions and directions until just a few weeks prior to arrival....if she's told you everything is ok though I think you should be fine. Everyone does it a little bit differently...we send it all out when final payment is made (then I know for sure I've done it, makes it easy on me), but not everyone does. I wouldn't panic or worry unless you had like days until arrival or something...you're still a few weeks out, it's not that unusual.
 
Pretty much the same thing happened to me last month for our stay at Windsor Hills. I ended up getting my info 4 days before we were scheduled to leave. Keep in touch with the owner and I am sure she will get your final information to you soon. Maybe a phone call so you can talk to her in person is the way to go if you really need assurances.
 
First, I know you are concerned, but please do not use ALL CAPS on the internet unless you want people to think you are YELLING at them. ;) Also, you may not realize this, but your signature needs fixing. There is a good technical support board and test board to get that fixed. :)

As to the owner, you may need to email them ans ask for a confirmation. I actually had to do that with our most recent rental. They had no lease agreement or receipt. He hastily drew them up for me because I insisted. I needed them for my records, and for my trip insurance.

Just email or call the owner and ask politely for what you need.
