Vacation Home rentals info please?

We have decided on a last minute trip to WDW for Feb/06, and would love to find a vaction home to rent with a pool instead of a hotel room. We've never rented one before and I was wondering if any of you have...... and could recommend a few? There will only be my DH and I and we'd like to be close to WDW as possible.

we used www.vrbo.com when choosing our pool home rental for our wedding nearly 2 years ago and it was wonderful!

Thanks all for the great sites.....I've got lots to research now!

lol.... mbb we've been watching the Ding fares coming in and we were tempted last week by them but when I went on the PC Christmas Eve we couldn't resist any longer! My DB couldn't believe the fares and I really like Southwest and flying out of Buffalo so this is just perfect for us. The fares flying out of Toronto would have been about $480.00 each for the same period of travel!

I'd love to try Skyauction but I've been on the site and can't figure out what to do so I'm a little scared to try it, but I do know that lots of DIS'ers get great rates for 1 bedroom condos. Oh well I'm off to check the vacation home rentals sites and plan,plan,plan!

We've found a lovely villa to rent and with great rates too. So now I can relax knowing that we'll have a great place to stay with our very own pool too!

Try heading to www.DoOrlando.com. They have many pool homes available.

I want to add that renting direct is usually your cheapest option. Going through the compaines often result in higher rates. I would check this way first. "mbb" offered the sites I usually use and they are great.
