My last trip to Disney World was in the late 90's. Prior to that trip I searched disneyinfo.com forums and got a lot of helpful advice. Is this the same site, but with a different name?

There was a company that advertised vacation homes on disneyinfo.com, and as I recall, it was the only type company endorsed by the website. We stayed in one of those homes and loved it. Unfortunately, I don't recall the name of the company or the neighborhood where we stayed. Can you direct me to a reputable company that rents homes near disney world? Is there a website where I can find customer reviews of these homes and services they received?

Thanks a bunch!! :flower3:

We have stayed on site and at vacation homes. Last year in September we rented through Windsor Hill Resorts...we stood in one of the Magic Villa's LOVED IT. There were 3 bed/3 baths, laundry in the townhouse..plus a small pool off the living room and a huge pool for the resort. A convenience store, game room (we never used). It is a gated community with ID required upon entrance. In september it was only 99 per/night. So very cheap and convenient for 3 families (total of 8 people) to use. Very, very close to WDW. 5 min drive if you use the Sherbeth Road. The townhouse and area is immaculate. Loved it. We are staying on site this year because only one family going. If you need any other info about this townhouse let me know. Good luck

No we had rented a minivan that's the only thing, you need your own transportation.

Take a look at our Orlando Hotels and Attractions Section-- you should find lots of information on rental homes there.

I am going to go ahead and move this to the Orlando Hotels board so you can get more information over there. :)

The house we stayed at in Windsor Hills used the following management company: www.floridasunvacationhomes.com. They were excellent to deal with and maintain their properties very nicely. They also have homes available in Windsor Palms and Emerald Island which are all gated communities.

I believe that Windsor Hills does have a shuttle service which we did not utilize as we had rented a car. We loved Windsor Hills and are planning to stay there again next year!

Good luck planning your trip. :goodvibes

Hey! Welcome!!

I have recently booked a 3bdrm townhome at Windsor Hills (really close to disney)! I initially began my search through www.windsorhillsrent.com and sorted through the responses---I received many legit and great quotes. That being said, I ended up renting through vacationcentralflorida.com (we are going in the fall). To me, part of the fun is just looking for that "perfect" place. Have fun!!!

Yesterday was the last day to sign up for the conference that my husband is attending. Obviously, I procrastinated until the last minute to make our reservations! :rolleyes1 I called the Orlando Chamber of Commerce and they gave me a list of companies that they recommended. I found a great house from Elite Homes.

The conference he is attending offered special rates if we stayed at the Contemporary hotel at Disney - $189 per night. We're bringing our 2 adult children along so we would need to book two rooms for a whopping total of $378 per night. :scared1: The 3 BR, 2 BA house is $139 per night! :woohoo: It has a private pool, spa, pool table, and free internet. It's about 10 minutes from Disney. The pictures of the house on their website look great.

Hopefully we'll be as happy with this house as we were before.

Thanks for all of your help. :thumbsup2
