vacation home/Barrington 5 bdrm ... anyone stayed here?

Hi guys!! Got a great deal on this house. Have never stayed offsite before. Just wondered if any DIS'ers have stayed here and what they thought of the house and rental company. I think it is through COMPSET vacation pool homes. It is about 5 miles away from WDW. Thanks bunches for any advice!!!!

Need a bit more information on this one. Which development/community is this on? The web site I traced seems to indicate this is on Lindfields which is one of the older communities. Lindfields is about 5-8 mins from WDW and is in a good location.

Compset is undoubtably a UK company and probably set up by the owners, who look like they run a travel agency, for the purposes of marketing their home or other peoples homes. No record exists of them in the State records.

More investigation is needed before booking the home. Who is the local management company? Are they members of any trade organisation? What are the terms and conditions? What arrangements are there for key pick up?

Thanks for the reply Fleisure. The website says they have a "onsite" management co in same subdivision ... also, says they only have 3 homes in Kissimee. It looks like they are owned from a company "Compset Travel Services" in New Jersey.

Thanks for all the input!!!! We already have a room booked onsite, but came across this "deal" this week. Not sure if we want to give up our onsite room, but price and size of house vs room at moderate resort is a plus!!!
