Vacation coming to a close

Fixing to leave Typhoon Lagoon in about an hour. Great day here in the park. My 2019 vacation is coming to a close. But this vacation has really given me just a bit more spark in my Disney spirit.

I am immensely blessed.

Well once we left Typhoon Lagoon my husband said he wanted to stick around a couple more hours to avoid rush hour in Orlando. So I got out my phone, made a dinner reservation at Trails End at the campground and had one of the very best meals on property that we have ever ate in the last 14-15 years. I was shocked, overjoyed, overcome with disbelief of how awesome that resort area really is. That added about two hours of pure enjoyment and bliss to our trip.

The Disney depression of not being there now is at its highest point that I think it has ever been for me now.

You can always do what I do. We drive and on the road I start a list of what we liked and didn't like on the trip. Thus begins my planning for the next trip.

We checked out of AKL this morning. It was a great 9 day trip with perfect weather every day. We’re about 2.5 hours from home and not feeling blue at all. We already have our Christmas week beach club trip booked so we have that to look forward to. My girls are happy to have gone and happy to be headed home. We all miss our fur babies.
