Hi all,

Tomorrow is my 90 days out!!! Woohoo so I'm getting ready to book my seats for the flight which I think open at 90 days out.

The flight number is vs075,

I was just having a quick look on seat guru and the plane is showing up as an airbus330, I was hoping to book in the bubble but it's not looking like this plane has a bubble!

We have premium economy seats on the way out, my question is, will it more than likely be the airbus330 or are there any chances that it will be a Boeing 747??

Also, if we are in premium economy do we get to disembark before economy passengers on the airbus330? as I know the bubble disembarks before the lower deck on the Boeing 747.

Any help would be appreciated!

Eva

I actually thought all the VS075s had switched to the 747 configuration now?

Ours in September is 100% a 747 on VS075!

I thought that too!!! But seat guru is showing the airbus330?

So confused now I guess I'll have to wait till tomorrow and see what seat map opens up....

I think you can now only book seats 60 days in advance. I also believe that the downstairs PE get let off before those in the bubble - atleast we did on our last flight in October.

I think it's the 747-400 but may be wrong. Do a dummy booking and when it shows the flight summary click on the VS075 it shows you which plane your on.

If you want to see the seat layout click on Virgin experience, then on Our Fleet, next click Boeing 747-400 London Gatwick and Manchester based it gives the seat layout.

Just booked our seats for our May hols, the 90 days pre booking of seats changed to 60 days, also our aircraft was a 330, but now it is a 747. Premier economy passengers are allowed off before economy passengers.

I live right next to Manchester Airport and I have not seen an A330 leave MAN for a very long time, always a 747. It's extremely sad that I confess to knowing this, but I always look to the sky, see the plane and say "have a magical day" -:/

I will look down for you on July 3rd and expect a wave.:goodvibes

just logged into my Orbitz account and mine says:

Virgin Atlantic 75

Economy | Boeing 747

4,224 mi | 9hr 0min

We're on the VS75 going to Florida in August from Manchester, and the VS76 returning, we were advised by Virgin that both are a Boeing 747. Also, when we chatted with Virgin a couple of weeks ago, we were told it's 60 days for seat selections.

Hope that helps!

It will be a 747 - the A330s have all be refitted and no longer go to MCO.

They will disembark downstairs PE & upper first followed by the bubble (economy first then PE) and last downstairs Economy.
