VA Seating Allocated At Check In

Hi,

Just wanted a bit of advice - we leave on VA on Friday from Manchester and our pre arranged seats have been changed to 'allocated at check in'

Not a hugg problem and understand that you can't pre book seats for children (we have an 11 mth old but booked a childs seat for her) and was wondering what will happen at the airport?

There are 4 adults (us and in-laws) and baby. How early should we get there? REALLY would like to sit in a 3-2 across one window centre seats.

Is this for all people with children or just because we have an infant.

All advice greatly appreciated.

check again on your 'amend booking' when you click on your name your seats should still be there.

I agree go back into "amend your booking", we pre-booked our seats last year and never had an issue with them and our son was 7. We all checked in together at the airport on the morning of the flight and everything was fine.

Our last flight was showing the same, we called the call centre and our seats hadn't changed!! no problems at check-in.

It'll let me see the original seats but our little one still isn't allocated a seat!

Guess it'll sort its self out at check in!

Anyone know what time check in opens at for first flight of the morning?

I was on the 10:25 although it got delayed and we was there for 7 it was open and quiet.

maybe a silly question - but you said you booked a childs seat..... did they take the money for a child ticket, or have they booked the baby as a baby...... they would be on a lap - no seat would be allocated - maybe you should check with them.... good luck...

The check in for the 10.25 Manchester flight opens at 6 am.

We are booked with virgin for Jan. & we have booked seat for 2 yr old it allowed us to pre book seat !
