What's the difference between the Chef's Table and the main room? Is there a guest limit? Do they accommodate groups at all? And a group with a baby, or is it adults only?

Also are there set seating times?

And how long would a meal last here with the multiple courses you receive?

I think no children under 10 are allowed, so certainly no babies. The dining room is romantic and lovely with exquisite service and food. Also, one of the best things about V&A are the truly inspired wine pairings.

The Chef's table is a table in an alcove off the kitchen. It has one seating per night. The times we've done it, we arrive at 6 p.m. and leave around 10:30 p.m. The table seats up to 8 I believe, but two can book it. You receive a few more courses at the chef's table.

The dining room is much more romantic, but the chef's table is interesting if you like to watch the chefs at work.

Groups can be accommodated in a side-room area of the dining room.

Seating times are usually scattered around 6 p.m. and again around 9 p.m. although in the summer they apparently are only doing earlier seatings.

Either makes for a lovely evening.

We have a 9PM reservation in the main dining room for the last week of Aug, so they do seem to be doing both the 6 and 9 seating during FD. We really wanted to try V&A a few years back when we were last at Disney, but didn't think it made sense for a younger kid, now that she'll be just over the limit we're going for it.
