V&As called me today to confirm ADR, normal?

We will be eating at V&As a week from Thursday and they called to confirm this today. Also asked about preferences and allergy's. I asked if chefs table was still booked as we wanted this. She replied that she saw us on waiting list. Nuts. And then she said "Oh I see its your anniversary, what fun you'll have". The Poly must have told them this as we went through concierge.
Is this normal for V&As to call you before ADR?

Yes, they called me last year for a ressie and today for my upcoming Chef's Table!! Can't Wait!!!!
