V&A question

I thought I remembered reading that they would call you sometime before your reservation to check dietary requirements, etc. Does anyone know approximately how long prior they call? This is a surprise meal and I don't want them calling when I'm around my wife.

We are dining at V&A on Sunday, they called us on Thursday Sept 17th. If you are concerned, I would ask them to put your work # or cell # on file and call that as opposed to risking your wife finding out.

Thanks, they only have my cell, but I don't want it going off when she's around. I'm just looking to see about when I need to leave it in the truck or turn it off if she happens to be around.

We're there Oct. 3rd, so that puts it at anytime now.

You could call them now yourself and give them the information they need and ask them not to call you.

Have a great time - we ate there last October and we loved it.

I would also agree to call them. They have been known to call me by leaving a voice mail at our Disney hotel; that would certainly be worse than having them call your cell.
