I have a question just want to be prepared for it when it comes up.
180 + 10....
We are going to try 1st for the chefs table if cant get that then we will try for the queens room.
My family is going and my wifes best friend and her niece are joining us, i will be attending diner with my wifes best friend. My wife will have the 2 kids and go out for diner else where. Yes she is ok with this in fact it is her idea and not one of those oh ok sure take my best friend kinda of deals. This is for realzees, I am a huige food junkie and so is her best friend we are always looking for the best and I think we might have found it. So now for the bill would it be tacky for when the bill comes that we ask for 2 bills since we will be going dutch.
Whats everyone thoughts on this?

Just tell your server upfront. Nothing better than dining w another foodie

true that. we went our for my wifes birthday dinner on the week-end and the food was good where we ate but her friend looked at me and said cant wait 11 months more and we will be licking the plates clean, hoefully its at the chefs table. God I love her friend. Her friends birthday will be 2 weeks after we are in disney and she has never been to disney so it is a birthday present to herself, I will make sure we do something special for her that night. Would it be wrong to wear birthday ears in there? and then take them off when seated.

Just let your servers know. It shouldn't be an issue.
Hope you love it at much as we do! Your only decision now is the 7 or 10 course meal. . .

Did you book for the main dining room, queens room or lucky enough to get chefs table?
I am going to try for the chefs table 1st but I am not sure what time I start calling and do you call the restaurant or call WDW dining?

You can also just pay with 2 credit cards and ask your servers to split the bill equally onto the 2 credit cards. We did this last time we ate there with another couple. When it came time to pay, we gave the servers 2 credit cards and asked that the bill be split equally.

We have always done the main dining room, so I can't comment on the Chefs table. We have loved V & A every time we were there. We have done it 3 time with the 2 of us and once with both kids who were in college. They loved it and realized they were foodies! I enjoyed all the times, but sharing it with our kids was really special!

my son is a food junkie already but he is only 7 years old, I know he would be a perfect gentleman in there but he is not allowed till he is 10. I get it so maybe we will have to do for my 50th which will be in 7 years and then he can enjoy it as well.
