UY banking deadline?

Got a quick question. Wondering if a contract has a Dec UY and you do not want to use for a year, when can you bank and use the points by the next year? Ex. The contract I am looking at has 200 pts Dec 2008 UY...I know nothing will be available for this Dec 08...meaning I must bank ASAP? Just need some clarification....THANKS

For a contract that has Dec 08 points (menaing ones coming next month), the banking deadline is July 31, 2009. The banking deadline is the end of the eighth month of the use year. Note, points that come Dec 08 are good for any trip taken Dec 1, 08 to Nov 30, 09, unless you bank them and if banked they can be used for a trip from Dec 1, 09 to Nov 30, 2010
