Honestly, if you are having this degree of second thoughts about taking your kids, I would advise that you don't. I am thinking that you know your kids best and if you are saying they can't be successfully managed, they probably can't. Alternatively, they are just "normal" kids but you don't have the skills and attitudes to deal with them in this kind of setting. I am not being critical, just realistic.
Just my Mom and I took 5 kids under the age 13 to Disney for 9 days several years ago. We spent the first 3 nights off site and then moved to Old Key West. The youngest one came down with the flu on our first night and then it spread to everybody else as the days went on. But we all have wonderful memories of that trip and I am so glad we did it!! Looking back though, I can't see how we did it!!
