UT to DVC AP

I bought a 5 day hopper from UT for my DH. He now says to get him an AP. I'd like to buy the dvc gold discounted ap before our trip in Oct sincee pricing will probably go up before then

how can I do that? My son is going next month. can he do it for me? He ha photo ID with our address.

Assuming your son is over 18, he can go to guest services and upgrade the ticket to an AP in his name. Once the unused AP is assigned in MDE, you can reassign it to anyone in your Friends and Family. As a note the value of your ticket is what it is at the time you convert it to the AP; that applies to the value of the AP, too.

will it matter that he already has an ap? will he get the dvc prie if he brings my blue card?

He can upgrade the ticket with your blue card and an Id with your address, unfortunately it will be in his name
