UT tickets to traditional tickets?

Is it possible to turn in our UT tickets (printed at home) for regular ticket media? I am thinking it would be easier to fit in our lanyards.

If you are staying at the hotels, the ticket desk people will print out a standard ticket for you.

There have been mixed reports of Guest Services doing it. Their opinion seems to be that if you want a normal ticket, you should order a normal ticket.

We purchased tickets through Sams (printed at home) and had no problem exchanging them for regular tickets at Guest Services at the park. (We were staying onsite and had 5 day tickets)
