UT e-ticket question

I have bought tickets through Undercover Tourist many, many times, however I have always gotten the hard tickets and then linked them to my MDE.

This upcoming trip (in 20-something days) has been kind of last minute and I am thinking of buying DH's ticket as an e-ticket. (I already have mine) We have MB's and have never had to use/show our hard tickets at the gate, but in my mind, I've always had a sense of security of having those hard tickets as a back up.

So, my question is; has anyone had an instance where they needed to show their hard ticket because of a MDE issue? I think I just have to get my head around the whole MDE thing, since I don't trust it!

As long as your eticket links to MDX, it’s good to go. Even if you lost your MB, they’d check your MDX account and issue you a new ticket - they can even do this at the park entrance.

I've yet to have the hard tickets mailed from UT -- I get the e-ticket vouchers immediately following the purchase and add them into MDE. No problems yet; it's so convenient.
