The USA and Russia hockey game tonight from the World Cup of Hockey come on now you must follow sports somewhat right AFR. Or atleast you have seen something about the tournament on the sports news. Or is it really not that important in the US I figured it would have some headlines there. The USSR thing was because I had my son sitting with me and could only type with one hand and it was easier to type it that way. Regardless good luck to both teams it should be a good game.

Maybe we're all "hung over" from the Olympics and just can't take any more sports.

I'm not a big hockey fan - I only watch it when DH is home, and then only if there isn't anything else I'd rather do.

The USSR thing is what threw me off...

Ah come on AFR you gotta try it it is a great sport the game is just starting it is in St Paul Minneapolis tonight. Ya kinda figured the USSR thing was out there as it hasn't been used in a very long time but what can you do when your kids are hanging all over you LOL.

Thanks, but no thanks. I've seen enough hockey to know that I really don't care for it.

Plus, it's convention time. I find the political conventions much more interesting.

Politics BLAH lol have fun watching though. I will do the good Canadian kid thing and watch the hockey game. End of the first period ad the Russinas are outshooting the US 18-4 I think it is but luckily for the US it is still 0-0.

Well teh US fell to the Russians tonight 3-1 and the US fans were very displeased so much so they felt they needed to throw beer and beer cups on the Russian players while they sat on their bench. Good thing these fans don't represent what the hockey team does and that is for the most part sportsmanship to bad really as it was a great game to watch.
