I read somewhere that you can use WDW passes at Disneyland. Can someone provide specifics? Where do you go and convert? Do you have park hopping privileges? Any info/comments would be most helpful.

No crossover allowed. Unfortunately. No discounts at either WDW or DL for passholders from the other coast. It's one of those things I think the company should address, as it wouldn't cost them much & would reward the die hard Disney-addicts.

According to allearsnet.com:

Can I use my WDW tickets at Disneyland or any other Disney park?
Yes and no. The only WDW passes that you can use are Park Hopper and Park Hopper Plus passes and even then only at Disneyland. You will have to take the ticket to Guest Relations at DL and they will have to call WDW Guest Relations to confirm that the ticket is still valid. There is a drawback though. When the PH gets converted, you will lose the ability to park hop at DL so you can only see Disneyland or Disney's California Adventure, not both in 1 day. You cannot use WDW AP/PAP's at Disneyland. None of the other Disney parks will accept admission media from any other park.

and from mousesavers.com:

Interesting, unpublished fact: you can use leftover days on a Walt Disney World Hopper pass at Disneyland or DCA! This is probably because Disney World Hopper passes cost much more per day than Disneyland passes, so Disney is actually coming out way ahead on the deal. Present the WDW Hopper at the gate on arrival -- they will take it somewhere, deduct a day from it, and give you a one-day pass. This information was confirmed as of April 2004.

Although Mary contends that it is not cost effective, that is not necessarily the case.

A 7+4 WDW from tickectmania is $291.81, which breaks down to 26.53 per day, or even if you count the plusses as freebies, then 7 major park days is 41.57 per day.

If you're going to Disneyland for 2 days, as we are, a two day hopper is $98, or $49 per day. Since Disneyland passes expire 13 days after first use, it does not make sense to buy a longer pass.
So for less than 3 days at Disneyland, it can be cheaper to use your WDW hopper. (of course, no hopping at Disneyland)

I have not done this yet but it an option we are considering for our December trip.

Yes you can use WDW passes at DL. This is great if you do not plan to go to WDW anytime in the near future. WDW passes cost more, of course they will let you use days at DL.

You can NOT however use DL passes at WDW. Disneyland passes expire. Disneyland Passes cost less.

Annual Passes are only good at the resort in which you purchased them. WDW are only good at WDW. DL are only good at DL.

And yes you can hop with them. Your first step would be guest services, to the left of Disneyland (Park). They will take your WDW pass, remove the day/days and give you a Disneyland Pass.

would there be a phone number or email addy that someone could provide?
