Never have used any car driving services so sorry if I seem dumb to this service.
is there services besides the Minnie vans that may be returning that will take you from your resort to the parks? If so what location do they drop you off when you get to the parks? I try my best to avoid the buses if possible but next stay I will be at key west and animal kingdom so wondering about alternative transportation
we drive our car so another question is if we drive to the parks is there a parking area designated for resort guests or dvc owners that are closer to the park entrance?

No there is not a designated parking area for resort guests and I don't think (I could be wrong as I'm not DVC) there is one for DVC. You can pay for preferred and be a little closer up. I believe the ride shares drop you off at TTC at MK and if they drop you off at the same place the buses from non-Disney resorts do at AK it is the parking lot off to the right of where Disney buses drop you. It's actually a tad closer than the Disney buses. I know you said you wanted to avoid the Disney buses but at MK, they are going to get you at the park gates where if you drive or take ride share, you are going to be dropped off at TTC and have to take either the boat or monorail to get to the gate.

We used Uber to go from our resort to Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom. Both dropped off in the designated rides share area near the bus area. We used Uber to go to Beach Club, where we walked to EPCOT international gateway. Magic Kingdom will take you to the Transportation and Ticket Center.
Be aware there is surge pricing so sometimes a ride that should be $15-20 was $40+, so be prepared to make decisions with that in mind. We didn’t pay any surge prices- just took the bus at those times.

You were able to take Uber to Beach Club without an ADR? I was hoping to do the same, but read they were turning cars away. I’m going in two weeks. When did you go?

You could get dropped off at the Dolphin for a slightly longer walk. I don’t think they are restricting access like some Disney resorts.

we did it the week of 3/14-3/18 wirhout difficulty.
We did Lyft on 12/17/22, the guard asked if we had dining reservations or checking in, we said we were going to the international Gateway and she said that was not the correct answer, but she was nice and let us through anyway.
